If you fancy a flutter, you can try your hand at classic games like blackjack, roulette and slot machines at the Casino Marbella, in the H10 Andalucia Plaza Hotel.

Activities

Fringed by some of the finest golf courses in Spain, Nueva Andalucia has earned the nickname Golf Valley. There a four championship courses: Aloha, Las Brisas, Los Naranjos and La Quinta. There are also several tennis and paddle courts. It also boasts its share of sandy beaches, and access to the San Pedro-Marbella coastal walkway.

Nueva Andalucia has good links to the major road networks and enjoys easy access to the various attractions such as the white villages of Ronda, Mijas, Casares. In a little over 2 hours you can hit the ski slopes at Sierra Nevada in winter. The motorway will take you in about 2 hours to the popular kite surfing mecca of Tarifa, with its long sandy beaches and just a stone’s throw from Morocco.

Local and Surrounding Areas

There is a good supply of shops, boutiques, butchers, fruit & vegetable shops that sell fresh produce, delicatessens and supermarkets, including the popular Mercadona. The Centro Plaza mall, next to the bullring, houses restaurants, a gym and hairdressers and boutiques. There is also a street market where bargain hunters flock to every Saturday. Of course, you can also head to the popular Spanish El Corte Ingles department store or the La Cañada shopping centre for a broader range of shopping.

Family Life

There a good offer of schools in the area from public Spanish schools to private international schools such as Aloha college and bilingual nurseries and kindergartens.
