Benalmádena is divided into three areas:
Benalmádena Costa offers over 8 km of coastline and here are lovely beaches, bars, restaurants and shops along the promenade. Benalmadena also has a beautiful marina, ranked among the best in the world.
Benalmádena Pueblo is located a little further inland from the coast and at an altitude of 200 meters. It is an old charming village that has managed to retain its traditional style with white houses, picturesque narrow streets adorned with geraniums, squares shaded by orange trees and palm trees. There are also plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants.
Arroyo de la Miel connects the old town to the coast and has grown into a lively center. The train line connecting Fuengirola and Malaga has a stop in Arroyo de la Miel, making it easy to travel to holiday paradise without being car-borne. There is also a cable car in Arroyo de la Miel, which takes you up in the mountains with breath taking views as a result.

The area has a Mediterranean climate with an average annual temperature of 22 º and in the summers the cooling sea breeze makes the summer heat pleasant.

In Benalmádena and its immediate area there is every conceivable service. There are several large shopping malls, water parks, zoos and much more. There are also plenty of leisure activities such as tennis and paddle courts, golf courses, gym and much more.

In Benalmádena there are good bus and train connections, which means that you are not car-bound if you live here.
